{"id":21134,"date":"2017-11-28T14:09:36","date_gmt":"2017-11-28T19:09:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.unclerickaudios.com\/?p=21134"},"modified":"2017-11-28T14:09:36","modified_gmt":"2017-11-28T19:09:36","slug":"lord-right-hand","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.characterconcepts.com\/unclerick\/2017\/11\/28\/lord-right-hand\/","title":{"rendered":"The Lord is at Your Right Hand"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>Hey, little buddies!<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Psalm 16:8 has an important message for us.\u00a0 It says,<\/div>\n<div><em><strong>&#8220;I have\u00a0set the\u00a0Lord\u00a0continually before me; Because He is\u00a0at my right hand,\u00a0I will not be shaken.&#8221;<\/strong><\/em><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>This may be where the expression, &#8220;my right-hand man&#8221; came from.\u00a0 When we think of a right-hand man, we think of somebody whose help we need badly, someone we can always depend on.\u00a0 The Psalmist says in this verse that he is constantly thinking about the Lord and that because the Lord is always at his right hand, he is confident and steady.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>You know what this makes me think of?\u00a0 It reminds me of battles in ancient times.\u00a0 Imagine yourself in the front of the battle, striking away at the enemy with your sword.\u00a0 Your sword protects you in front.<\/div>\n<div><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.characterconcepts.com\/unclerick\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/sword.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-21135\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.characterconcepts.com\/unclerick\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/sword.jpg\" alt=\"The Lord is at Your Right Hand\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.characterconcepts.com\/unclerick\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/sword.jpg 640w, https:\/\/blog.characterconcepts.com\/unclerick\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/sword-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<div>On your left arm you have your shield, so no one can hit you from that direction.\u00a0 You&#8217;re facing your enemy, so nobody can attack you from the back.
